In fact we love a LOT of MT Masking Tape.

If you’ve been in to see us you might have noticed one of our windows has been taken over by it. And so has our home. We use it for pretty much everything; wrapping up presents, decorating the walls, putting up the kids art work, keeping ground coffee fresh - we’ve even got a lampshade decorated with it!

But why do you love it so much I hear you cry. If you’re not familiar with MT Tape, it’s the original brand of 'washi' paper masking tape created by the 100 year old Japanese company, Kamoi Kakoshi.

Each decorative roll is crafted from smooth, Japanese paper which can be torn easily by hand. Colourful and simple, MT tape can be used on paper, objects and walls.

Why we love it…

No. 1: The ‘just right’ level of stickiness allows MT to be easily repositioned and to be used on painted walls without damaging paint.

No.2: It has so many uses. It’s great for card crafting, gift wrapping, scrapbooking, journaling, home decor and more!

No.3: MT is semi-transparent so it can be layered to create fun designs - it’s also easy to write on so it’s handy for making notes or messages. 

No.4: There are so many different colours and patterns to choose from!
