We're super excited to introduce the Tom's Studio Lumos Pro to All Things Analogue.
It's something we've had on the wish list for aaaages (both for ourselves and for the shop) and whether you love it for it's sleek design or for the commitment to reducing waste, the Lumos Pro is a joy to write with.
The idea for Tom's business came from watching his wife use a mass-produced plastic calligraphy pen which he felt didn't match the quality of her work. With his background in product design he decided to make a better pen, which has evolved into a range of stunning, hand crafted, writing tools.
The Lumos Pro is a beautifully designed and beautifully made duel ended refillable pen with a range of interchangeable tips that include fineliners, felt-tip, chisel, bullet and brush.
We’ve been playing with one for the last few weeks and we absolutely love it. The flow of ink is really consistent (we’ve got a fineliner tip and brush tip in it at the moment) and the weighting of the pen makes it really nice to hold.
The ink is drawn up into interchangeable reservoirs so you can have two different tips, with two different ink colours, on the go at the same time!
We also have a selection of the Tom’s Studio fountain pen inks at the shop which go perfectly with the Lumos Pro and come in the most beautiful colours! We can’t wait for you to try them :-)
