The Zuan sketchbook is one of the most popular sketchbooks in Japan, used by everyone from amateurs to professionals.

The moderately natural unevenness (grain) on the surface enriches the expression of movement and the soft and highly absorbent nature of the paper makes it suitable for sketching and watercolours too.

The neutral paper has good colouring and is strong enough not to be damaged even if corrections and additions are made.
