Throughout the year we host a number of scrapbook & art journalling meet-ups in the shop after hours. When we moved the shop to Grove Road two years ago, it was the first event we did - and we've been doing it ever since! 

The best way to describe it is a scrapbook version of a 'Knit & Natter'. We transform the main shop floor into a collaborative crafting space, with paper, pens and supplies for everyone to use (and people often bring along things to share with the group too!) We also have our vintage typewriters on hand for adding fun details.

You can bring along an existing project or get started on a new one. Everyone has their own take on what is it to scrapbook, journal, junk journal, art journal etc. and anything goes at these evenings! There are no rules or formats to follow. It's really just an excuse to carve out some time to be creative with others, finding inspiration in what those around you create too.

You could put together a memory page of a recent trip, decorate pages of your daily journal ready for the week ahead, create a collage on a theme or just cut, stick and doodle to your heart's content. The kettle is always on with biscuits or sweet treats close at hand.
